Nisha comes to Human Connections with over a decade in social work services and nearing a decade registered as a Psychologist. She provides diagnostic support and therapy to children and adults virtually by drawing from evidenced therapeutic modalities including but not limited to trauma therapy, EMDR, Narrative, Guided mindfulness practice, Gestalt, Art, Somatic, and Emotion Focused Therapy.
Nisha is fascinated by science behind the mind, body and spirit, resiliency factors, the positive impact of mindfulness, Indigenous healing practices, and nature as medicine. She has dedicated her work experiences to personal and professional growth that helps her support people through their life bumps compassionately.
Beyond her work as a psychologist, Nisha is a humanitarian at heart, having lived and worked in 6 of the 7 continents teaching English, supervising UN projects and gathering intercultural wisdom to share.
